Executive Sous Chef
Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Pri came to Boston at the age of 15. At the age of 22, she began a 10-year career working for Rene Becker, owner of Hi Rise Bakery and Luce. At Hi Rise, she ignited her passion for seasonal, locally-sourced scratch cooking and honed classical technique; rising from prep cook to cashier to front of house manager and jam maker to kitchen manager of the main store.
After Hi Rise, Pri decided to learn about catering, she spent five years doing catering, working with her husband all around Boston and the North Shore area where she was able to expand her command of production and gain a wealth of knowledge about full-service catering. Following her passion for Middle Eastern cuisine, she accepted the position of sous chef at Sofra Bakery, where she worked with a wide array of exotic spices and ingredients. In 2017, she joined Forklift Catering as prep/event chef and was quickly promoted to Executive Sous Chef. She finds herself right at home working with local products and using sustainable practices.
Pri lives in East Boston with husband, Ethan Paige, and Willy Nelson, the dog. She is the proud mother of Umass Amherst student Samuel. During her spare time, Pri loves to garden, take pictures, or plan the next fun party at their house.
