Kristen joined the Forklift team in 2014, bringing with her years of experience from one of DC’s largest catering companies, Occasions Caterers. Kristen grew her event expertise beyond catering when she worked for a floral company, a destination management company, and on the truck for Mei Mei Street Kitchen (a Boston favorite!) during their inaugural year. While she enjoyed expanding her event and food knowledge at these various opportunities, she was excited to come back to her first professional love – full-service catering! As a Massachusetts native, she’s happy to be back in her home state and working with a team whose dedication to sustainability and local sourcing matches her own.
Kristen’s favorite pastimes include documenting Forklift’s delicious masterpieces (check us out @ForkliftCatering) and hanging in the kitchen looking for snacks. When she’s not at work, you can find her on the South Shore at barre class or relaxing with her husband and dog. They enjoy trying out new recipes with friends and family at their home or meeting up for pizza at the beach at sunset.
